Still in AZ, but don’t have the 80 anymore :( I wound up selling it a little while back to free up a little cash (kids are expensive!) and some garage space (inherited a 1955 Triumph TR2 that has been in my wife’s family since new - there is no way I can let that go). I am probably going to be replacing the 80 with a 100 Series though as soon as VW buys back my TDI. Don’t have much free time these days, but all in all, life is pretty great. My son is about to turn 2 and we have a daughter due in about 2 months!
How are things with you and your family? Do you still have the TDI? Are you selling it back? Have any exciting plans for replacing it?

things are good. My 5 year old and I have been on a few adventures (white rim and uintas) and my little one is turning 3 tomorrow. Definitely trading in the tdi...not sure what we are doing re: waiting it out for a new sportwagen tsi, or going Volvo or Mazda or something. kids are expensive. We had a heart scare with my 3 year old this year (everything is fine)...the year we decided that to do high deductible. hooray!

Oh man, sorry to hear about your kid, but glad to hear everything turned out alright. That is great that you have been able to take your 5 year old out on the trails. I can’t wait until I can do that with my kids.
